Komatsu's construction equipment is being connected, visualized, and solved through Komtrax and Smart Construction®. Komatsu has also been making similar efforts at the plants where Komatsu construction equipment is manufactured, and has developed its own system called Kom-mics. Kom-mics is used not only within Komatsu, but also at partner companies and overseas subsidiaries. Kom-mics is capable of collecting and analyzing operating data and processing data from machine tools, robots, and other production equipment, and can support visualization of factory operating conditions and planning of measures for optimization.
