Komatsu Ltd. (President and CEO: Hiroyuki Ogawa) (hereinafter "Komatsu") has been highly evaluated by CDP*, the non-profit global environmental disclosure platform, for its efforts in addressing climate change and water security, as well as for its disclosure of related information. As a result, Komatsu has been recognized as the “A List”, receiving the highest rating for climate change and water security. This marks the ninth consecutive year that Komatsu has received the highest rating for climate change and the fifth consecutive year for water security.
Every year, tens of thousands of companies disclose data about their environmental impacts, risks and opportunities to CDP for independent assessment against its scoring methodology. In 2024, over 700 financial institutions with over US$142 trillion in assets requested companies to disclose data on environmental impacts, risks and opportunities through CDP’s platform. About 24,800 companies responded.
